New Exhibitions

In the run up to Christmas (and beyond) I've got work in three different galleries.

Small Iterations III at the Platform Gallery

The first is at the Platform Gallery in Clitheroe, Lancashire, where I'm part of their Northern Star exhibition.

I'm also very pleased to be part of a new gallery in Beverley, East Yorkshire.

Creation at SALT in Lairgate, has a rolling programme of exhibitions, and its opening exhibition runs until 2nd January.

Also in Beverley, I'm very pleased to have been selected for the Annual Open Art Exhibition in Beverley Art Gallery. This exhibition runs until 28th January 2017.

This is a lovely gallery - with a cafe attached! Click on the links for more details about opening times.

More Exhibitions

It's possible to see my work in two exhibitions which are up and running now.

The first is at Maiden Bridge, which is tucked away in North Lancashire, not too far off the A65 near Ingleton. It's a glorious setting, with over twenty artists working in various media, exhibiting together.

Further details about opening times, and directions are available from the gallery's website here.

The other exhibition is in the Atrium Gallery, which is part of the Bexley Wing of St James's Hospital in Leeds. This is a group exhibition with Diverse Threads.

The Atrium Gallery is in the main reception area of the Bexley Wing of the hospital, and is generally a much busier place than this photo suggests!

8 April 2016

It's nearly over . . .

There's just tomorrow left if you are hoping to visit my exhibition at the Platform Gallery in Clitheroe. Saturday 9th April is the last day. Details can be found on the Exhibition Page.

Don't forget, that the Craft Open exhibition is still on there too.

Platform Gallery Exhibition is now on

My exhibition within the Platform Gallery in Clitheroe, is now hung and open to visitors! I was given the opportunity to exhibit when I won the Selectors' Prize for Innovation at last year's Craft Open, which I wrote about here.

Part of my exhibition at Platform Gallery, which runs until 9th April 2016
The exhibition features new hand-cut paper assemblages, meticulously machine stitched in place, together with vessels created from wire and stitch.

Directions to the gallery, and opening times, can be found from this link. The gallery is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Do check with the gallery to confirm opening times if you are making a big expedition to get there!

My exhibition is within this year's Craft Open which features contemporary work by artists based in Yorkshire and Lancashire. If you want to see my work, don't forget my exhibition closes on Saturday 9th April, which is a week earlier than the rest of the Craft Open.

1 February 2016

Getting ready. . .

The Platform Gallery in Clitheroe is now showcasing the works of selected makers from Lancashire and Yorkshire in their 2016 Craft Open.....

..... and I'm making final preparations for my exhibition there starting on the 15th March. These are hints of some of the pieces that will be there.

The exhibition in Clitheroe runs until 9th April. Opening times can be found by following this link. Do check before you visit - it is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays, which will mean it will not be open on Good Friday or Easter Monday.

There is also still time to visit the East Riding Open Art Exhibition in Beverley, where my work is

on display until February 13th. Further details of opening times are here
